THE FIRST TRULY ‘GREEN’ BEAN BAG
Our bean bags are a world first. They are filled with BioFoam® beads, a compostable biopolymer made from plants, that is child and pet friendly, doesn’t harm the environment and keeps its shape, ensuring our bean bags are incredibly comfortable.
Unlike most other bean bag companies, our bean bags aren’t filled with harmful styrofoam beads. Most of these plastics end up in landfill or the ocean, taking hundreds of years to break down. Styrofoam ends up floating on the water and being ingested by wildlife. It has to stop.
We’re working hard to make sure all our products have minimal impact on the environment. We use threads manufactured from recycled plastic bottles, and all the materials we use in our bean bags, stools and cushions can be repurposed or recycled.
COMPOSTABLE FILLING
Recognising the environmental impact of polystyrene bean bag fillings, we searched far and wide for an eco-friendly alternative that wouldn’t compromise the quality and comfort of our bean bags. BioFoam® is the perfect solution and we’re the only bean bag company in the world using this vegetable-based alternative.
BioFoam® is CO2 neutral, non-hazardous, hygienic, light-weight & durable. It’s the perfect environmentally friendly alternative to harmful styrofoam beads found in most other bean bags.
COTTON WEAVE OUTER FABRIC
We use a 100% cotton weave fabric that are made to the highest quality.
Our bean bags are soft, comfy, durable and hard wearing. The outer bag has been tested to over 26,000 rubs.
Our BioFoam® filling is conveniently held in an inner calico zipped bag, so the outer bag can be easily removed for washing.
HAND MADE IN UK - FILLED & DISPATCHED IN GERMANY
Our bean bags are hand-made in our factory in the United Kingdom, filled and dispatched in Germany.
They’re made to the highest quality standards, with strong double stitching that’s made from recycled plastic bottles and finished with beautiful piping.
Everything is quality checked before dispatch to ensure you receive your eco-friendly bean bag in top notch condition.

OUR STORY
It all started back in 2018 with a love of beanbags and a dislike for what goes into them. And whilst sat at home on a polystyrene filled beanbag, the idea came to us – to make a high-quality bean bag as eco-friendly as possible.
We try to live our lives as sustainably as we can and always try to encourage our friends and family to make eco friendly choices. We live in the South West of England in Devon and we love to spend our time away from work at the beach or enjoying the countryside.
